Senior Manager, Marketing Programs
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Marketing and Product Strategy, the Senior Manager of Marketing Programs will oversee planning, development and implementation of programs covering customer, prospect and partner communications; planning, developing and executing a wide range of external communications including collateral development and direct demand creation activities, web-based communications and new product launch support. Consults with management, sales management and external agencies to develop and implement promotional plans. Must have a background in sales support and knowledge of lead generation/demand generation programs, especially targeting, measurement and budget management skills.
The primary goal for this position is new customer acquisition and profitable revenue growth. Responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to:
- Develop, implement and manage a mix of programs targeting prospects. Programs may include direct mail, email marketing, advertising, and others as identified.
- Manage the development, implementation, and execution of lead generation (from inception to activity completion), lead tracking and awareness campaigns. Execute lead generation activity to develop qualified sales leads.
- Contribute to overall client loyalty, retention and user community development
- Develop and execute compelling client-facing collateral such as brochures, case studies, Web site content and white papers.
- Monitor, track and analyze the cost, quality and effectiveness of all programs-related activities
- Track status, action items, and timeline for each program
- Manage external lead generation firm.
Desired experience/skills:
- 4-6+ years experience in a high tech company (preferably enterprise software) running lead generating campaigns and marketing programs
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or equivalent, MBA preferred
- Proven track record developing successful campaigns and driving measurable and meaningful business results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Salesforce.com a strong plus.
