SQL/Data Warehouse Engineer, Analytics
Position Overview:
Tealeaf Technology is growing rapidly and needs additional brainpower. The company is a profitable and rapidly growing late stage startup with an impressive list of Fortune 500 customers. Our software allows large web sites to capture, replay, and analyze all web traffic to/from the web servers, identifying hard-to-reproduce problems and providing the details for analyzing site effectiveness. This candidate will provide a leading role in expanding the capabilities of the Tealeaf system.
Job Responsibility:
- Systems architecture and feature development.
- Utilize and evangelize best of breed software development techniques including design patterns, re-usable and modular development.
Required Skills:
- Demonstrated track record of developing, shipping and supporting critical and complex SQL Server or other relational DBMS based applications through multiple releases and versions.
- Demonstrated and consistent track record as a significant contributor through the development career.
- Focused experience developing complex applications for client or server side applications and services.
- Ability to quickly master new technologies and push the envelope for performance and reliability
- Defensive coding ability accompanied with strong analytical and creative problem solving skills.
- In-depth debugging skills; ability to reach out and use team strengths to solve problems.
- Ability to work in small collaborative teams and have a good sense of humor.
Required Experience:
Between 5 and 10 years experience of extensive relational database data warehouse, business intelligence, or web analytics type systems development. Experience with SQL Server and Windows environment preferred. Experience with report generation from large (1TB) databases is needed. Ideal candidate will have developed enterprise software products.
Education:
BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant discipline and experience.
