Tealeaf employs cookies. Cookies are small text files placed on your computer by a Web site. Cookies enable Tealeaf to track usage patterns and deliver customized content to users. These cookies cannot read information from your hard drive. Tealeaf uses cookies to collect and store your User ID. The User ID is not personally identifiable to you. The information is only used to identify repeat visitors. Tealeaf also uses temporary session cookies to assign and store a Session ID to you so that you can move uninterrupted between areas of our Web Site. Tealeaf also uses the Session ID for internal reporting purposes. We employ a software technology called clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons), that help us better manage content and advertising on our site by informing us what is effective. Some of these files may be provided by our advertising management partners or advertisers. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user’s computer hard drive, clear gifs are embedded invisibly on Web pages and are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. This information does not include personally identifiable information, and we do not tie the information gathered by clear gifs to your personal information without informing you in each particular instance. Tealeaf protects user information with by using a Privacy Filter, a configurable tool that causes selected information such as passwords, credit card numbers, and last name to be removed from the digital record.

We do this by implementing industry standard security procedures for storing and accessing information.
