Tealeaf collects the following information through the Web Site session data and information that you enter on the Web Site or provide to us in any other way. Individuals are free to change the personal information that Tealeaf has collected from them and to unsubscribe from any and all Tealeaf communications at any time by stating such preferences in an email to privacy@Tealeaf.com. The manner in which we collect this information is described below.
We collect information on the pages you have visited and the contents of those pages, any information you input, your referring URL or IP address, your time of visit and related session information, your requested page, Web browser type, USR agent, status of request (successful reply), cookies, number of bytes in the response, and query string. We use this data to better understand Web site usage in the aggregate so that we know what areas of our Web site users prefer. This information is stored in log files and is used for aggregated and statistical reporting.
Please note that clicking a link within a Tealeaf email may result in a cookie being placed on your computer/device. If you do not wish to receive a cookie from a link in an email or on the Tealeaf webiste, you may, depending on your browser version, elect to block all cookies. Most browsers have an option for turning off the cookie feature, which will prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, as well as (depending on the sophistication of your browser software) allowing you to decide on acceptance of each new cookie in a variety of ways. We recommend that you leave the cookies activated.
For visitors interested in registering to download a document or participating in a marketing campaign offering, we ask that they register with us by supplying their name and basic contact information. Tealeaf also has a voluntary mailing list where users can supply their email address to facilitate periodic communications from Tealeaf. Individuals that voluntarily register for the mailing list are automatically subscribed to the Tealeaf voluntary mailing list.
We employ a software technology called clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons), that help us better manage content and advertising on our site by informing us what is effective. Some of these files may be provided by our advertising management partners or advertisers. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user’s computer hard drive, clear gifs are embedded invisibly on Web pages and are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. This information does not include personally identifiable information, and we do not tie the information gathered by clear gifs to your personal information without informing you in each particular instance. We may also use clear gifs in our HTML-based emails to let us know which emails have been opened by recipients. This allows us to gauge the effectiveness of certain communications and the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns, but you will always have the choice not to receive such emails.
Tealeaf does not actively market to children, and we never knowingly ask a child under 18 to divulge personal information.

Please let us know if you do not wish to receive such mailings by sending an email to us at privacy@Tealeaf.com. Please provide us with your exact name and address. We will be sure your name is removed from the list.

Registered users and those who sign up to receive communications from us will receive a periodic Tealeaf company newsletter, and occasional email announcements regarding company activities.
Registered users will receive additional announcements from us about products, services, and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications.
We offer links to other Web sites. Please note that when you click on links to other Web sites, you are leaving the Tealeaf Web Site and may be subject to different rules, including, but not limited to, different privacy policies that may be less protective of your privacy. In some cases, Tealeaf may choose to buy or sell corporate assets. In these types of transactions, customer information is typically one of the business assets that is transferred. Moreover, if Tealeaf, or substantially all of its assets were acquired, or in the unlikely event that Tealeaf goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, customer information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and hereby consent and agree that any acquirer of Tealeaf may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy.

Tealeaf protects user information with by using a Privacy Filter, a configurable tool that causes selected information such as passwords, credit card numbers, and last name to be removed from the digital record.
